We would like you to discover a little more about our history as a genuine Brazilian company.

In 1911, when Valentin Tramontina began with a small smithy in the south of Brazil, in the city of Carlos Barbosa, he never imagined that 100 years later Tramontina would be operating in both national and international markets.

The diversity of Tramontina’s 10 manufacturing plants involves production of more than 17,000 items including domestic utilities, tools, electrical materials, tables, chairs and kitchen equipment. It is through innovation and diversification that we strive to satisfy consumers and businesses who use our products in the most varied domestic and professional activities.

Producing thousands of product units each month, we constantly invest in modernisation of warehousing and logistics processes so we can better serve the market. In Brazil, we have five distribution centres and five regional sales offices strategically located to ensure efficiency in product delivery. And to facilitate our exports to over 120 countries, we have six distribution centres and two sales offices abroad – Tramontina’s entire infrastructure provides the support needed for an efficient distribution system. Each manufacturing unit and distribution unit is independent, but each relies on the Head Office, located in Carlos Barbosa, for the administration and monitoring of company guidelines and standards.

Due to Tramontina’s commitment to conscious and responsible management, not only of the quality of the products we manufacture but also of our environmental footprint, we implement treatment processes for solid waste, liquid effluents and atmospheric emissions with quality standards that comply with the specifications of Brazilian and international environmental agencies. Attention to the environment also includes care for conservation areas and investment in production forest projects. Harmonising productivity and respect for the environment not only constitutes a competitive differential, but also a commitment to sustainable development.
